  11. I'm trying to upgrade from a Zoom VFP 14.4 to a V.34I.  There seems to
  12. be a major conflict between the modem, my network card (SMC EtherCard
  13. PLUS Elite) and/or my display adapter (DiamondStar 64 w/ 1 Meg).  With
  14. the modem installed I get no video and no self-test - not even any
  15. diagnostic "beeps".  If I pull the network card, the modem installs
  16. fine.  Without the modem, Windows 95 reports the following settings:

  30. I've tried every COM port available and still can't even get the
  31. system to boot.
